What is The Satanic Temple’s Code of Conduct?

The Satanic Temple’s Member Code of Conduct, also simply called the Code of Conduct or CoC, is a document that describes the expectations that The Satanic Temple has for the behavior of its members, and the guidelines the organization expects members to observe. Anyone can download and read The Satanic Temple’s Member Code of Conduct. It is updated periodically, and the newest version can always be found here: hub.satanicministry.com/pages/code-of-conduct

Ministers are required to digitally sign the Code of Conduct as part of their ordination requirements. However, all members of The Satanic Temple are expected to follow the Code of Conduct whether they have signed the document or not. If you have not signed the CoC, that does not permit you to ignore its guidelines. If you are a member of The Satanic Temple and you violate the CoC, The Satanic Temple may take punitive action against you up to and including possible expulsion from the organization, regardless of whether you have signed the CoC or not.

Documented violations of the Code of Conduct by a member of The Satanic Temple should be reported to the Suryan Council (suryancouncil@thesatanictemple.com). Please remember to include all possible evidence (e.g. screenshots) with your report.
